I definitely understand why for some people it was too much, this book is disturbing and sometimes sickening but definitely not disappointing for me. Theres abuse, violence, prostitution, child abuse, homophobia, murder, pedophilia, rape, drugs, assaults of all kind… List goes on and on. Language is vulgar and disgusting. I often had to make pauses every ten pages, because it was too much. So why did I continue to read? It’s a description of life in poverty located somewhere in Mexico. And sadly it’s not all fiction. So how can we say ,,this book is too much” if someone right now literally is living that life. That was a disgustingly addictive disgustingly addictive.
