Lighthearted, I really enjoyed this. Didn’t want to stop listening! Easy listening, I found the main character really relatable and enjoyed the story.
After a reading slump I couldn't put this book down. It's a light-hearted read with a happy ending. Typical chicklit. I enjoyed all the modern references to Tinder, Game of Thrones, Netflix and the podcast idea. The protagonist initially has a low self-esteem but develops confidence by taking on challenges and by the end of the book she learns that people actually have high regard for her. I was fond of her because I too do many menial tasks and have a rbf.
The one was exciting to read and the ending really surprised me. A light read for women wanting a little excitement in a love story.
