Made by nerds for nerds. I'm no  a big scifi person but I really enjoyed this book. It explores a lot of interesting ideas and the science around octopuse was very accurate. If you love oceanography you will love this book.

Generally had a good time. i love octopuses. took way too long to pick up and get interesting and often tried to do too much which could make the storylines confusing.

I’m not sure I have the words to describe how much this book has affected me. In fact, I think it and the ideas it presents will affect me for the rest of my life, in ways I do and do not recognize. Incredible.

Fun concept, and I enjoyed the author's blend of philosophy and science fiction. Some storylines were more interesting than others, and in those chapters I felt myself wanting to get back to the characters I cared more about. Wrapped up kind of fast, but overall an enjoyable read.
