M to (WT)F: Twenty-Six of the Funniest Moments from My Transgender Journey by Samantha Allen

I liked this. It's an honest and vulnerable telling of Samantha's personal journey towards becoming her ideal person (a trans woman). My opinion is that if you feel conflicted about how to feel about trans people, hearing them tell their stories can only be helpful in understanding what they go through. I thought Samantha was very funny and made some great points about the differences between men and women.

Hilarious, informative, and a pleasure that must have been so difficult to write and voice herself. As a romance reader it had a distinct lack of kissing, but I’m willing to overlook look that because of how wonderful and funny this was on the whole.
It felt like I had a friend telling me a story and I was EATING it up.

Lite informativ, och stundtals lite underhållande, men varken speciellt engagerande eller rolig.

I’m grateful to Samantha Allen for this book’s description of what life is like for one trans person. I want to grow my compassion and be a strong ally for all people, so this was good for me.

I love this author. She is great and I can’t wait to read more of her work. I am looking at going into memoir writing. I just need more inspiration

Loved listening to this on audible. I admit I am very uninformed about people who are transgender and this was a great start in my learning. Samantha shares her stories in a way that is educational, memorable, and funny.
For anyone who is hesitant because they’re uncomfortable with this “topic,” remember this: love is love, why are anyone’s private parts your business, and people are people. This should ALL be common sense.
Please listen! Thanks for sharing your stories Samantha!
