I feel like this book started off strong, but the further i read the more frustrated I became with the characters…

The was a consistent lack of communication between so many (jace and clary, clary and Simon, Magnus and Alec, Alec and jace)—everyone was just angry the whole time, not communicating, and it was just so frustrating because I kept expecting some kind of resolve or reconciliation and it just didn’t happen

Not good. The Clary and Jace sibling thing is cringe and I hate Simon. The battle scene was uneventful and basically nothing happened in this book. Excited to get through TMI to get to TID.
