I enjoyed the storyline. It was heavy in symbolism. It started and ended a little slow. Overall it was a great read.

I was not expecting to love this book so much but DAMN. Vanja has stolen a place in my heart and a spare hammock for Emeric too. This was such a fun adventure and I can't wait to see more of these characters.

This is the book that started my obsession with fantasy. I never really even liked fantasy as a kid, but this book was so great that it introduced me to my now favorite genre :)
