i know twilight had to have ripped off some of this book unless all vampire books ever have really had all these same details but at least the insta-love in twilight is not that bad. they had at least talked to each other whereas stefan and elena had never even like had a conversation before that night and she said i love you skjdfkjs it was Too Much. anyway ALSO i'm just gonna go ahead and say i think this book series is gonna fall into the same category as pretty little liars where both book and show adaptations are Messy but at least the shows give every single character a better personality than the book does

This one almost received 2 stars because it doesn't really end at all but has a big cliff hanger to make you read the next one. Well, I don't love Elena or Stefan at all so will not be continuing this series. I only read it because I seem to have to try vampire books.

I’m also embarrassed for me. This was easily one of the worst books I’ve ever read so I paid the price. My craving for a quick boost of nostalgia from the beloved tv show was left unfulfilled. I will probably make this mistake again in the future, I’m sure.
