Other people will never accept you if you don't accept yourself

De lo poco que me acuerdo de haber leído Raven hace unos años creo que me gustó más ese volumen que el de beast boy. Siento que a diferencia del primero acá casi no tenemos un conflicto sólido aunque los personajes hacen que sea muy entretenido.

The first one felt like a good set up story, but this was also just another set up novel involving beast boy. I’m going to be honest, beast boy was not my favourite teen titan to begin with so I just wanted the story to get back to raven.

Once again the stars mostly go toward the art. Gabriel Picolo's art is some of my favs and I love his take on the Teen Titans. Story was quite average, but I mostly read it to make sure I was prepared for the volume that comes out this year, which I'm really looking forward to...

Beast Boy is one of the few DC characters I really love and connect with. This new origin story brings a lot to the table for a well-established and loved character. While, at times, I wanted to smack Gar for making choices that really seemed so obviously poor, he's always been a bit of a rascal. Now, I do think this book has the same issue as Raven, having times where the time/place/space from one panel to the next or between chapters is a little jumpy, but overall it's not too bad. I look forward to the next installment!

Really enjoyed this one. I love me some dorky boys who loves animals. 😍😍😍
Unlike in Raven's graphic novel, she lacked some backstory, and now, with Beast Boy, I feel like I'm missing when he meets Raven in her book. So some things don't make sense. I still love it regardless
