This feels a little bit like it's missing something but I would have been so happy to have fat representation in fiction like this when I was a kid.

This is SUCH a good book. As a fat woman it brought back a lot of childhood memories and reminders of struggles that I have to this day. I’d say if you’re gonna read it, tread carefully because the first half especially is hard.

This book was amazing! I love reading about how Ellie was slowly starting to stand up for herself!

Girl power of a fat girl who learns to accept herself and speak out against the bullies - sadly, this includes bullies in her own family.

A must have for any library.

Great YA book for anyone that has felt different, especially because of their size. *cue the waterworks*

Wow! As someone who has battled weight issues by whole life this book really resonated with me. The bullying and verbal abuse from the mother was painful to read. My mother was nothing like that but I was constantly bullied by classmates. Thank you Lisa Fipps for writing this amazing book.
