i gave this a four star review mostly because i hate rating memoirs and figured anyone writing a memoir deserves at least four stars for being so vulnerable in putting their story out there. i remember being in hawaii for the first time during a family vacation when the 2014 winter olympics were happening. figure skating was my favorite event to watch and i remember loving gracie. we would end each night  checking to see if she had performed that day. being on vacation during that made the olympics so memorable. it’s interesting to reflect on how i perceived the olympics at that time in my life and now reading how that experience was for her and the subsequent difficulties that she went through. 

forever jealous that she got to hang out with taylor swift!!!

I thought this would be just another cheesy memoir but I stand corrected! Loved reading this - my favorite book I’ve read this month.
