Absolutely brilliant and magical book.
I loved reading this aloud as much as my children enjoyed listening to it

A thrilling read from start to finish, this book bought back some childhood memories and makes me value even more the importance of imagination. With some dated references aside, this is a book I’ll definitely be coming back to more than once! Where is the sequel?!
I adored this. It felt like the perfect mix of the Narnia chronicles and Peter Pan alongside being its own, brilliant, original text. The idea of being able to return to an entire world you created when you were younger is so much fun - and the kind of thing that would have driven me mad as a child as I had very little imagination, my favourite baby doll was simply named Pink Baby and that was that.
This was excellent and I look forward to reading more from the series.

I just wonder why this hasn't been turned into a disney movie yet. A beautiful illustrated, very well written and heartworming story about imagination, magic, friendship and growing up.
I would have loved this book so much as a kid, and still loved it as an adult. The premise of the story being that Arthur and Rose had an imagination so strong it literally created Roar? I loved it.
