This felt like a nice bedtime story about all the things a parent would give their child if they could. I would probably use this in story time if we were doing a bedtime theme.

With adorable, lyrical, and rhyming text, this book allows for a world in which children explore and have everything that they need.  Illustrations include a diverse cast of children, and Robinson's usual engaging style.  Just in Case You Want to Fly suggests that regardless of attempt, journey, or adventure, there will always be something or someone to back the reader up, making for a comfortable and delightful read.  Great for grades K-2!

I'm a HUGE fan of Christian Robinson's illustration style. This book was a fun, beautifully illustrated rhyming story featuring a diverse group of children going on adventures indoors and out.

A sweet story that pulls at your heartstrings in the simplest and most profound ways while Christian's illustrations add beautiful contextual layers (and a joke!).

Pictures didn't make much sense to me. Just kinda weird. My kids were confused too.

A cute supportive story about helping whoever the story is being read to learn to reach their dreams.

A perfect story for a parent to read to a child.
