This Beauty and the Beast retelling, Arranged marriage novel really delivered.
Amelia is everything we want in a FMC. She is strong and learning her way and place in the world. Lucas - the Ghoul of Greyfair - is not without his faults, but he does care about his tenants in a way that is admirable.
I really enjoyed the character development of both MCs as they healed from their past and moved toward the future. My only issue is that I just don't know that I felt their connection to each other. Amelia's character growth was done almost on her own, and she helped Lucas heal, but I didn't feel like he brought a whole lot to the relationship.

I finally got around to reading this book that was gifted to me. I have to say I definitely enjoyed it. The first few chapters I wasn't sure if it was for me but after their relationship grew I fell for them. I loved all the characters in this book. It gave me beauty and the beast vibes which I enjoyed. I hope to read more about the Atwood sisters or more about this coupling !!
