This is beautifully and honestly written but oh man, as new starts go Kate's experiences in Italy weren't exactly ideal. Drama and damage and disappointing men, I wanted to go back in time and tear her away from all of that destruction.

I loved In My Skin and this is a worthy follow up but I really hope Kate has found a happier place now. Harrowing must get tiring.
