Continuing to enjoy this series. I'm hoping book 6 wraps up some of the story lines that have been in progress over books 4-5.

This could have been combined with book 4 and saved a lot of headaches.

These books don't miss a beat, and they're getting more and more like Stephanie Plum. Crazy moments, more sex, all sorts of bad goings on. Wesley is turning out to be a bad seed, Cooper is in some trouble, etc etc. Goodness.

I can't wait for the next/last book in the series. I love the plot twists and character development but darn it I want some answers!

The Charmed Killer is still on the loose, Carlotta is still spending too much time with Peter (okay, opinion, not just a plot point…), Wesley still makes dumb choices, and it’s all pretty much just a continuation from the last book.

If you haven’t checked this series out, I recommend it. (Start with Body Movers by Stephanie Boyd!) It’s quite a little drama filled series but it’s a good distraction from reality and mostly a pretty light read. I am enjoying that the plot is continued in the next book. I sometimes don’t like that the plot totally wraps up in one book and the next in the series has very few plot points that carry over.

Pretty quick read, so I’ll leave it at that and go 7 of 10 for enjoyment and 4 of 5 for readability. Fun, light series – unfortunately, I’m already halfway through #6 and my Overdrive doesn’t have any of the more recent ones! I believe #9 is out as of this year?

Another fun Carlotta Wren mystery.  This one was kind of filler but a lot of things happened.

Coop is mysteriously acting strangely and not that present.  Wes does body moving with the M.E.'s nephew, with Carlotta and Hannah.  Hannah sleeps with Chance Hollander !!!

Carlotta is staying with Peter and trying to fit into his life.  A cat tries to move in too, and Carlotta thinks it is Angela reincarnated.

The charm bracelet serial killer is still on the loose.  Wes is still doing drugs and Carlotta finally finds out.

These characters are so fun and even though there wasn't much solved in this specific book, since I'm reading them together an in order, it didn't really affect my enjoyment.  I still recommend this series, but this book is sort of a set with the previous book so either start with book 1, book 4 or book 6.5.

Once again, Carlotta and Wesley are involved in one too many things. The story lines are interesting and engaging but there is a lot going on in this book and it can be a little hard to follow at times. Honestly, the ending was a twist and a cliffhanger and makes me eager to read the next book.
