I was provided a complementary copy of Sand and Clay in exchange for an honest review. I was a tad hesitant to continue reading the book initially as I do not care to read about cheating, however I am thrilled I kept reading and in fact finished the entire book in one evening. Sarah truly brought each of the characters to life, I laughed and cried with them and can not wait to read the next book in this series!

Okay, at the time I'm writing this review, it's been about 4 or 5 months since I read the book.

It's not real fresh in my memory, but I do recall enjoying this story.
It was a sweet romance that was more on the side of sweet than spicy.

The only hang up I had was that the relationship felt a bit too much like Insta-Love. I'm okay with Insta-Lust, but all consuming love at first sight? Rarely does it do it for me.

To readers considering this book, please note that I read the older version, before it was re-edited with additional scenes added. It's entirely possible the Insta-Love is either gone or not as Insta.

Ultimately, though the Insta-Love bothered me, I don't regret reading this book and I would read more from this author in the future.

Meh

It was alrightish. Him claiming he loved her after a couple of days and a couple (maybe three) conversations was just ridiculous. Oh and the book ends at 85% with the rest being excerpts from other books.
