I SO wish we could have a full length story out of this! I want Khalid to face justice, I want Lera to escape, I want to know what The Dark Queen will do now in the human world! I NEED ANSWERS!

This was a very intense and short story. I was grabbed from the first page and did not want it to end so quickly…and just when it was getting even more interesting.
Very descriptive prose like this, “It’s dark below as the storm grows overhead and the cold penetrates my wetsuit immediately, the chill of the dead city wrapping around us”, that really set the tone for the story.
Looking forward to devouring more books by this author.
