A very enjoyable story! Hero is very much the broken anti-hero except when Elyse is about. Then he's everything she needs (usually) - supportive, caring, gentle, and more loving than he ever realized he could be. Of course, he's also demanding, infuriating, possessive, and all sorts of bad boy trouble. Be prepared to have your heart ripped out!

Hero definitely not a man that fits the name. But he is so much more than that. He meets a girl he can stay away from . But she is nothing like him. She is innocent so very innocent. But together they are perfect. Well written . I enjoyed reading this one.Cassandra is new to me, but J.I is someone I enjoy reading. These two together are amazing. A great book. Some suspense twists and turns. Highly recommend.
This book was a good short read. This was Insta lust which I really liked. It was only 198 pages so it was packed with a lot of story for a short read. Overall I gave this book 3.75 star and 2 spice. It has some mysteries and suspense.
This is an excellent intro to the Rossi family series. I loved meeting some of the key players and I’m hooked, I need to know what happens next in this series.

I really wanted to like this book. The plot and the characters were good but the story itself was just so...wishy washy. Hero was constantly back and forth. I didn’t read it as him being a jerk sometimes but rather not being able to make up his mind about what he wants and going after it. I had a really hard time finishing and almost quit around 50% but made myself skim through the rest of book.

First off Hero is such a giant jerk. Like the biggest. You can't help but hate him but yet love the way he loves Elyse.
Wow! This book had me hooked from the start and I finished it in one day! Elysse is a very naive and innocent young woman due to the upbringing she had from her strict parents. She attends college and meets Hero who is a dark alpha and the complete opposite to her. Hero is a complicated soul, he seems tough on the outside due to his upbringing but he has a heart so pure and I think that’s what makes him and Elysse the perfect match. Their story takes you through good times and sad times but you get a HEA at the end which is perfect not to mention the sex scenes are HOT!!

This was a average/okay read. I felt like some of the plot lines were predictable and characters weren’t likeable. However it was a well paced narrative. Can’t complain as it was free at the time! Hoping the next book is slightly better.
