This is LEGIT the second book in as many days that has BLOWN ME AWAY. And again, I can't say too much about it because it is another book best gone into completely blind. Needless to say, I ADORED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. The writing was fantastic. It was well paced. The plot was SO very engaging and well-developed. There were twists and turns. Hot sex. The characters were likable and intriguing. And for some reason, I thought this ended on a cliffhanger, but it does NOT. So yay for that as well!
SIDE NOTE: I usually NEVER do this, but after marinating on this one for a few days, I realized that as much as this book entertained me, the plot after the big "twist" feel apart and had plot holes you could pretty much drive a truck through. So with that in mind, I am going to have to knock a star off...

Quite liked the writing style, and how little it gave away for most part of the book. Kept me trying to guess this big conspiracy... the whole truth matter was kind of disappointing though. Such a big buildup and the WHY everything happened was just kind of basic?
How it was handled afterwards was super messed up though, and I think that manages to give it that really creepy vibe to the book that I enjoyed so much. It’s so twisted, and sad...
5 stars out of 5! Woo!

A group of kids at an elite college is pushed into an unusual – let’s call it adventure in their senior year.
Ten years later someone writes a book about it that tells the truth. Or does it? As they reconnect to uncover the book’s author, they fall into a spiral of memories, intrigues, and convoluted relationships, both past and present.
The plot that unravels completely blew me away, in particularly the twist near the end.
I can best describe The Dirty Ones as a psychological erotic mystery thriller, the least emphasis being on erotic, although it sure contains some filthy smut. But whatever you expect from this book, I promise you are going to be wrong. A good kind of wrong, though.
Overall, this world and story of this book are opulent, sensual, emotive, and above all very human and will certainly stay with me for a long time.
The Dirty Ones was my first book from J. A. Huss, but I will surely return to her for quality writing, vivid imagery, and fantastic storytelling.

4.5 stars
Oh my goodness! What kind of mindfuckery was this? My head is spinning, and my hands are damp. I am confused, aroused, happy, sad, and everything in between. Huss truly knows who to mess with her readers' mind *shakes head* o.O

wow ok so this book blew my mind. I can’t exactly put it into words since I just finished but wow?? i was glued to this book since the first chapter and all the twists, turns and the reveal!! I wasn’t expecting that at all but it was so good.
giving this 4.5 stars just because some of it didn’t make sense especially near the end but overall such a good book with an interesting plot.
