This was one of those sequels that didn't really need to exist. It felt like <i> Before the Storm </i> tied things up well, but then this one was added to the series. Sure, it explained some background that wasn't in the first book, but it didn't add a whole lot to the series. Chamberlain is a solid author and I tend to like her work, especially how varied it is, but in this case this just kind of felt meh and unnecessary.
