2.5 stars! It started well as a book that gives voice to the unknown names and characters during the great siege of Constantinople. However, it turned out to be a mixture of past and present filled with the author's sexual fantasies and a lot of historical mistakes and misinterpretations! A total disappointment.

Bu kitabı yorumlamak için onun ne türden bir roman olduğuna karar vermek gerekir öncelikle. Kitap 15. yüzyılla 1980 darbesi zamanları arasında gel-git yaşatıyor okuyucuya. Tarihi gerçekliklerden ne uzak ne de tamamen onlara bağlı. Açıkçası her bölüm, her sayfa içime sinmese de okuduğuma memnunum. Akıcı bir anlatımı vardı ve daha önce örneğini tatmamış olduğum, yazarı kitabın içine dahil etmesi olayı bence kitabın Boğazkesen'in daha iyi anlaşılmasını sağladı.
