I wanted so badly to like this book but man it was tough. I truly did not like the savior thing that was happening. And then the ending with the "in the womb" comment? like come on! ugh! Now I feel stuck reading the next book to see how it turns out but blech to this one.
I really enjoyed this next instalment in the death cast series.
This one was an interesting change of narrator with it following Alano, the son of the death cast creator. There are references to the characters from the previous books which was nice.
I liked the character development for both Alano and Paz, though I did find Paz annoying at times.
I didn't realise this was essentially part 1 of the story though. With how this one ends, I'm eager for the next book to know what happens next!

It was a great sequel. It wasn’t my favourite book in the series, but It was an enjoyable read! I loved the character development between Paz and Alano, and I adored their interactions to help each other!
Some parts of the book felt like it dragged, and some parts felt unnecessary, but for the most part, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The way the book ended - I am speechless! I am so so excited for the next instalment!
