Maybe my favorite book of the trilogy.

The FMC is captured by the evil fae king. The MMC finding ways to get her back and turns human to eventually be able to be full fae. They rescue the FMC and go through trials trying to build allies and get the sword to save the day. It all culminates in a big battle where the old mentor and powerful witch die. And the FMC sacrifices herself to save the kingdom. And is reborn because she’s actually a Phoenix. And everyone lives HEA

This third installment of the series was as enthralling as the previous two. It had me split between luxuriating in the plot and rushing eagerly through to the next chapter as the culmination of the story and resolution of the turmoil came together.

Hmmm. A LOT better than book two in terms of character building and spice. I am not sure why the author felt the need to put parts in this book when she didn’t have them in her last books. Felt that was weird, but otherwise, well done. Golden left part of the end open for the side characters so we can hopefully get more stories in the world of Evendell and Lumera later. I want to know what happens with Mari and Griffen as well as will there be a war with Citrine? Many things were left unsaid. But, I have seen her comments on her Instagram and she is outlining and working on a series right now. So….hoping. 🤞🏻
