Recommend! Deals with some heavy topics but I like how they are explored realistically. Loved the character development and growth. Engaging read!

Taylor Jenkins Reid's books are hyped for a reason. After listening to The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, I knew I wanted to listen to Daisy Jones and the Six. I listened to both on Libby, and WOW, the audiobooks are SO well done. For this novel, the cast of character voices is alive, dynamic, weighted, emotional, immersive. Reid is masterful in her character work, creating people you truly connect to, even if you have nothing in common. They way she writes about love and life through her characters is utterly captivating. She seems to always include a twist that pulls the reader in even more. The formats of the two books I've read from her are unique and full of so much detail you really start to wonder how it could be fiction. I couldn't recommend this book more. I can't wait to watch the series and listen to the album!

This book is incredibly enchanting, from the way Reid writes the story to the differing memories of the characters! It was so much fun to read and felt so *real*. Highly recommend reading this!

Love the innovative format. Really hated the characters and had no sympathy for them.* But honestly, I'm not a TJR fan. This was my third and last book of hers. I understand why the hype--it's the format and the idea of the story. And maybe the execution, but I really hated reading this and was happy to be done. I just don't care about these people. I do not care about celebrities in my real life and don't care about them in my reading life.

*I watched the TV show based on this hoping to love it more. Nope. Though I thought the actors did an amazing job.

The writing layout was different to all the books I have read, the story told and narrated from all the characters; this also made it a easy flowing read.

It touched on topics like substance abuse, love and conflict..and I could relate to somethings.
