This is the first of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s books I’ve read and it was incredible, I would love to read more. The interview style writing was interesting and easy to read, it was a great book to get me out of a slump!

I thought it was very clever when characters would recount memories in slightly different versions, or wouldn’t recount them at all.  This was especially interesting given who was interviewing the band, the slight changes in memories allows readers to questions whether characters were really telling truth which I found very unique.

My favourite part of Daisy Jones and The Six had to be Camila and Karen. Daisy Jones was a mess, and a very interesting one at that, but in the face of that I was left very invested in Camila and Karen. The dynamics explored in this book were incredibly memorable. Each character was distinct. Overall, great book! Im horrible at finishing tv shows so I don’t know If i’ll watch it but I really enjoyed the book!

I really enjoyed the last pages of the book. As a hopeless romantic but commitment enthusiast, I believe that the work put into
Camila and Billy regardless of Billy’s feelings towards DJ is inspiring and memorable. A marriage is more of an everyday decision than a perfect fairytale story
. The writing of Aurora album seemed a little bit repetitive for me
but it was great at building tension verween DJ and BD. The “twist” at the end of the author being Julia Dunne didn’t do much for me, but was an interesting concept. Would’ve loved to have a bit of the conversation of BD and DJ after Camila’s email.
