Paisley Hope can do no wrong. I loved the second chance element with the dual timelines, the lack of a true third act breakup, and the sweet, endearing relationship built between the MMC and the FMC’s daughter. I am loving this series and am excited to start the next!

Ok. Wow. I loved this book. I think second chance romance would have to be one of my favourite tropes, even more so when it’s a first love kind of romance.
Violette had a hell of a lot of built up trauma starting from her own negative self worth. It broke my heart that she thought she wasn’t worthy of Rowan’s love just because of the body she was in. She carried the hurt of her first heartbreak for her entire adult life and never let anyone in, without even knowing the reason as to why it happened. As well as the trauma of losing her twin brother and the constant effects of grief.
Rowan Kingsley….new book boyfriend unlocked. What a man and those words that came out of his mouth certainly made me blush. I enjoyed reading about a MMC that wasn’t tortured and not doing anything about it. He knew how to help himself and encouraged Vi to seek the help she needed too. His love for everyone around him was so evident and his love for Violette and Hallie just made me goofy smile and cry.
I wish I could have more of these two…
