Loved this! I’m a sucker for the Second Chance trope so this might be way I rated this higher than the first book.

I found this book to be really enjoyable and I definitely plan on reading more of Hope’s backlog!

PHEW.

i thoroughly enjoyed this one. the way he pined for violette after all those years. was he a little bit dumb about the whole jacob thing? probably. he definitely should have said something sooner. but violette seemed to understand his end of the situation and was able to move past it.

the way he was with her kid!!! and the way he was with her shitty ex, but not in the way i was expecting him to be.

this was my first book by paisley hope, and i've got wolf.e plus her cowboy books on my TBR that i can't wait to get to!
