I think my biggest problem with this book was that it was promoted as a "psychological thriller." I would not consider it that really at all. Maybe more of a domestic drama? It's basically the story of a seven year old girl named Hanna who keeps trying to hurt her Mom, and then Dad doesn't believe she could have possibly done such terrible things. This just happens over and over again. Some of the things that happened were interesting, but overall it's just repetitive.

I DNF'd at 6%. I just couldn't finish it. i'm not sure what was going on here. Also this was not a thriller and comparing this to "We Need to Talk about Kevin" is not okay. That book is incredible and this is not the one. I will say that I don't know how it ends but there is so much set up in the first chapter that I am assuming that nothing happens. I will be looking at the end to see what happens. Honestly, it made me want to beat up Hanna and I don't like that, but maybe it was good because it made me feel something. I don't really know.
