Niente di che. Non c'è un vero e proprio plot e tramite battute e altro cercano di colmare questo vuoto ma in maniera fallimentare.
spoiler: the 'v' wasn't really for 'vs' :(
also, i don't care about the scrambler! or loki! suppose the volume just wasn't to my expectations.
still, witty writing & NICE art. i love me some kevin wada covers.

Well! This was a bit of a mess.
Mostly it just had too many characters in it: Spider-Man, Daredevil, She-Hulk, Loki, some references to Iron First that I didn't understand, several X-Men cameos... this story is only five chapters long! This is too much!
When I picked up this comic, I was hoping to see cool scenes between the characters Gambit and Deadpool, explore their relationship -- friends? enemies? lovers? any deep political/philosophical differences? anything? But the story isn't about anything like that. It's very superficial.
I was super very not invested in this Fat Cobra villain. >:(
I did like the Scrambler, though: he had cool powers, and he was the only character with an interesting arc. :)
Oh well.

I love me some Deadpool but this was not to the standards I was accustomed. The dynamic between Deadpool and Gambit was great and the meta commentary was funny, but the plot-line was convoluted (which was even addressed at the end when Deadpool proclaims it's okay if everything doesn't make sense because Loki was involved). I spent the entirety of the adventure following the characters around with a complete lack of understanding for the underlying goal (except Deadpool and Gambit who want money, obviously). The Scrambler guy was a mess of thought processes. She-hulk just turns up at the end because she was his lawyer pre-transformation? I might be ignorant but this just really missed the mark for me. I also found some of the bubble placement hard to follow.
Yeah. That was definitely a Deadpool V Gambit comic. The story suited the two characters well. I am a fan of both characters so I wanted to be offended on their behalf, but the story represented the sort of hijinks you would expect when those two characters are in the vicinity of one another.
The interior art was okay, and it did a good job of developing the story. I'm not a huge fan of the blocky style, but it worked for this story.
This was an entertaining read, and I appreciated that the writer knew enough character backstory to create an interesting plot.

While I love the idea of Deadpool and Gambit teaming up, and I love the idea of Remy on a con-job story, Wade on a con-job doesn't work for me as well. The comic does walk the kooky off-the-wall paths I expect Deadpool comics to tread, and that helps make the rest of the con-job plot a little more palatable for me, but only just. I wanted to like this one more than I did—especially after hearing Acker talk about it as a guest on Jay & Miles X-Plain the X-Men—but I just wasn't falling in love.
Major props to the Scrambler side-story though. His arc is my favorite bit of the book, and I thoroughly enjoyed how much of the plot it consumed.
