3.5 round up to 4 | I loved the artwork. Very creative. I liked the comic inside the comic. Very in the moment. The reader was with the two characters. Beat for beat.

This book had such a strong quality of realness to it. It felt like something you might overhear snippets of sitting on a train or at a cafe, and I think the author had a very clear vision of this as they developed the graphic novel.

I wouldn't say I really enjoyed it, but it was okay.
