I did not realize that this book was a sequel to one of his older best sellers. So maybe that is the problem I have with this book. Maybe that’s why I really felt no connection to any of these characters. I thought they all seemed pretty stuck up and obnoxious. It was also pretty boring. I don’t think I’ve ever read one of John Grisham’s books before and I guess they’re not for me. It was just a lot of lawyer negotiations, and even though there was an intense plot, I felt none of the drama or thrill for myself. It was all just like so spread out and boring , I just couldn’t get into it.
