Disappointed... but not surprised, given the reputation of YA anthologies. I think I DNFed more than half of the stories in this anthology, and even those I finished didn’t impress me or anything. Big whomp

I’m both a noted sucker for YA romance and also not a big fan of short stories, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I adored this collection. Some were better than others, of course, but overall I appreciated the variety and earnestness of these stories.
I really enjoyed these short stories- there’s a special freedom in escaping into a known short story. You get to live just a little bit of magic with the typical meet-cute tropes you love. I read a story each day and it was a great mini-escape.
I really did not like half of these stories. There were a few that kept this from being a complete letdown.
