What an ending!

I have to honestly say, that I was worried that the ending for the Wheel of Time wouldn't capture the essence of everything that was established throughout the rest of the books, but I'm glad to say I was wrong, this book is quite amazing. And even though most of the events happen in a single important event, the pacing of the book feels quite fast.

Even though I would've liked to have some issues better explored and some things written in Jordan's descriptive narrative, the book felt true to the fans and Jordan's legacy.

If this ending gives us any hint on how The Stormlight Archive is going to finish, well we're going to be impressed.

And after finishing such agreat saga all I can do is to thank Robert Jordan for introducing such an interesting and wonderful world, and for having the thought for all of his fans such that he prepared for the event of his untimely death so that everyone could see how he envisioned the ending of this amazing and wonderful book.

The Wheel weaves as it wills, so who knows when I'll be able to revisit the saga.

Overall, it was a satisfying ending for the series. There were some things that I didn't love. For example, introducing whole peoples we had never heard of before. But there were some gaps in the story that needed to be fixed, so I understand why that was done. There were also cool and exciting things. The way the chapter The Last Battle went on so long definitely made me feel the weight of that much more vividly. This is not a series I will read again, but I did find this conclusion to be a pretty good one.

This was a great finale. I loved it. But my only critiques was that I did find myself a tad confused at the geography of the characters and where things were happening. Plus the addition of new characters shoved into the finale book at this point in the series was in my opinion a really weird choice. We have so many characters. Thousands. We have more people to know at the last minute? That was kind of a rough patch for me. I wanted to like them but it wasn't enough time. Especially this late in the series. But the overall book has shocks and moments that just rip you to shreds because let's face it. You read 14 (15 if you count New Spring) by this point you are attached to them and it is bittersweet to finish. But you look back on the whole series and realize how incredible it really was. It's massive and one to absolutely re-read. There is so much I can't wait to get into knowing the full context of the story. Now the hard part is done so I can actually read it for fun and find the clues and odd details.

Such a satisfying end to such an epic series! I was worried it wouldn’t be worth the trudge through some of the longer books but it absolutely was and I’m so glad I stuck with it through to the end.
