Let me start with I really enjoyed this book. Now I did pick up this book to read because when I read the summary I said I think I know what happened, and I knew most of what happened before I even took the book out from the library. I enjoyed the journey to the end and there were a few side stories in there that where not expected from the summary and where enjoyable. Overall not a bad choice and helped make a long ride more enjoyable.

Lovely summer diversion. Enjoyed the multiple plots / multiple timelines thing and didn’t see the twist coming.

I mainly enjoyed Ellen and Lucky’s stories, and discovering how they were connected. The modern day plot had a good concept to help push the narrative along, but Andie was annoying and frankly not good at her job. I don’t think they needed to create a romance between her and Luke, and should’ve focused more on her uncovering the mystery of the house.

So few pages and already so many repetitions - and maybe I'm not that intereseted in silly rich people, either.
