SO CUTE!

I absolutely love the second book to garlic and the vampire. It was wholesome, heartwarming, complex with emotion and just everything you want to see in a middle grade book. Although not explicitly queer the parallels to a lot of Garlic's struggles were clear and would resonate with anyone.

I didn’t love it quite as much as the first book. I have mixed feelings about

the veggie folk turning into humans. I get that it’s an allegory of growing up, but something about it feels off to me.
