Pretty simple storyline, perfect for relaxing, springtime, good for kids. Did not enjoy the art style as much in this edition. The idea of a tree-grandma and onion-daughter is really fun; I like how family trees (haha) work here.

This was also adorable! Garlics little journey to becoming human was cute and that carrot and her started growing their own little vegetable people was adorable.

sooo adorable!! i loved garlic and the vampire when i read it a couple of years ago, so picking this one up, i was really exited to see what new adventures garlic was going to go through. and let me tell you, this did not disappoint! as i've come to expect with garlic, the novel was fun, cozy, and even tender, with gorgeous gorgeous art and vibrant colours.

The first one is still my favorite one but I LOVE these graphic novels!! They are literally the coziest of cozy fantasy with the most adorable characters you could think of. Definitely comfort books.
