What a wonderful ending to the series, but I'll always miss it and come back to it✨️

Graphic: War
Moderate: Torture
I absolutely love this series! The drake brothers, and the other characters, are so lovable. This was a great ending to the series although I'm really going to miss it.
Amazing end to a great series!!!! Really hoping there is going to be a Lucy spinoff series.
This end book in the series really seemed to tie everything together in a neat bow at the end. Very heart wrenching in some places. Not to mention the great story writing and intrigue in mystery. The real question while reading was: are they going to figure it out? How long would be left in the book after they did? What would they do after that?
5 yummy M&M cookies.
Cover Love: Nope. Do not like this cover at all.
Why I Wanted to Read This:
This is one series that has kept my attention the whole time. Book #5 ended with a lot of questions so I was even more excited to read this one!
Romance: Some, but that's not what this book is about.
My Thoughts:
There were a lot of loose ends that Ms. Harvey needed to tie up, and she did a masterful job of doing just that. I even likes Lucy more by the end of this book! I really like Lucy & Nicholas together.

I finally read the end of my favorite series going on for the last several years!
I still madly love this series for all the reasons I massively, lengthily, raved in fangirl glee over in all their other reviews. All the girls are still amazing. All the different worlds that are now interconnected are still amazing. The way the book is plotted with the first massive climax happening at the 60th percent of the book, and still going on, still having so much more to go one about, and then once the other climax's have finished, still going on about real life choices and actions -- still one of my favorite parts.
That things where there's a bunch that happens off screen your main pov character doesn't see and has to be caught up on (during fights, and normal days)? Still. A. Crazy. Amazing. Realistic. Favorite.
At the heart of this novel, this story is still about the people it started out being about: Solange and Lucy, and, then, by extension, all the Drakes and all the brothers they fell in love over the last few books. It's still about the small universe, of the Drakes tucked away, and the large universe, of everyone who is anyone knowing who Solange is based on her birth and her actions now.
I won't spoil anything. I will only say that I still love, love, love, love this series. I am sad to see it end, and happy to see it got a fitting ending. Plus, I will be here with bells when Alyxandra starts her next series.
Minus 1 star only because while I loved the changing point of view among all the strong women we've met over the years and books, I felt so confused in the last third of the book to what was happening where, with who, and by whom. It was just a little too layered and disjointed. But it was still glorious all the way around.

Basically with this series I wanted less solange/viola and more from everybody else :/ 6 books just on Lucy and nic would've been fine! Also a bit more on Lucy's cousin and the different types and crews of vampires. Anything but the viola story which was boring as shit and not relative to anything else. Also Madame Veronica never had anything happen to her? Why did no one call her a raging bitch and slap her face? Tell her she's the worst and ban her? Anyway I would still read more in the series as all the drake boys never got paired up :/ more on magic too! Like magic just got discovered by the drakes and no one was interested to look into it further?
Good series but could've been better without the solange/viola storyline.

This felt like it could have been two books. There were two separate storylines that could have benefitted from being developed apart from one another. Also felt like maybe there were a few too many POVs. But still had that fun element that keeps you reading!
This series is one of my favorites! Every character is amazing and I was completely sucked into their lives. I am a little sad that it has ended but like all good things it must come to an end. I will definitely read more from Alyxandra Harvey!
The first couple books were fun but I guess I'm tired of this series now. Nothing to do with the author though, cause the writing hasn't changed.
