I need this book, like yesterday...

UPDATE:

IT HAS A COVER OMG IT HAS A COVER, THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE:

WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!!!!!!! "Not everyone will survive the prophecy . . . perhaps not even her" NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO DIE!!!!!! If someone I love dies I am going to go cry in a corner somewhere.

UPDATE:

I LOOOVVVEEED IIITTTT!!!!!!!!!! I am proud to say that though I'm sad to see this series come to a close, I am happy with how it ended. I was also glad that the entire book wasn't focused on Solange getting control back from Viola, that made it flow better in my opinion, and it gave the other characters a chance to be the main focus. The Drakes will always hold a special place in my heart, but I'm ok with putting them to rest. :)

Words to describe this book...sadkljasdkjasdhasjhdasjdhsahdashdkjhasdas
and thats not even a word. This book was amazing, the ending to the Drake Chronicles
Series. I wanted to cry when I finished it... I don't want this book to end I feel like it
could still continue with what solange finds and discoveres while she is over seas.
How Lucy goes through day by day in the new vampire Hunter school.
This book left me with question still
two main question... Will Lucy turn after a certain age like Helena did after bearing her kids?
What about Hunter and Kieran their both vampire hunters from birth but their loves ones aren't human
those are questions I want to know answered.... and it will kill me at the same time because
its like no you don't want them to become vamps as well because they are kick ass hunters
but they are with vampires....
:(
This last book made me feel so many things it was up and down roller coaster and I loved it even the bonus chapter with Sky and Duncan
which bring up a drake Brother the ending with Sebastian flirting with another guy
did not see that one coming xD Love it though!
This series was amazing and I hate myself for waiting as long as I did to finish it. But then again I am glad I waited because it would have been torture having to wait all this time for the new book...
I don't want to leave this world the Drakes world is amazing and I just want to keep myself within this pages...
All in all I feel in love with this book and now I am broken because it ended how I am keeping my fingers crossed that the author will continue with some character I will LOVE it to continue!

Amazing. Heartbroken the series is over, but just the most perfect ending. Will miss the Drake boys til there's a hole in my heart though! ;)
Full review to be posted nearer to publishing date.

I absolutely love this series! The drake brothers, and the other characters, are so lovable. This was a great ending to the series although I'm really going to miss it.

What? This is it? This is the last book in the series?!? NO!!!!! I have loved this series from the very first book! I can't imagine it is over! :-(
Alyxandra Harvey, are you listening??? There is so much more to know, you have so many more stories to tell!
Wait?! What's that? More stories? Novellas? Seriously, novellas? Your books were already too short at 440 pages! Well, I guess they'll have to do! But you'd better keep writing them! Just saying! ;-)

Epic finale.

Let us be real here. This was definitely the ending that this series deserved and more.

It reminded me a little bit of Kelley Armstrong's "Thirteen" in the sense that we get to read the perspectives of all the girls as well as the fact that there is always a fight going on.

The one thing that this book was full of was action. There was never a dull moment. Harvey would end one battle just to start a new one. When you thought the Drakes were safe and everything was going to turn out ok, it didn't. They still had to fight off another army; whether it was the humans or vampires.

I loved the fact that we got to re-visit all of the couples that grown through out the story. Personally, I love Hunter and Quinn. They are my absolute favourites. However, it was nice to see Christabel and Isabeau again. Plus, all of their sidekicks are back! Most of the characters that have been present in previous books come back.

Can't say enough about this series. It is my favourite of my guilty pleasures and I will come back to it again and again. Definitely one to check out if you are a vampire fan.

While I'm sad to see the end of the Drakes, the promise in the back of the book of future e-novellas gives me hope. Also, the series itself was nicely wrapped up. The story lines with the possession and then bringing an evil they though vanquished back, kept me gripping the edge of my seat as I hurried to read faster and faster to see how it would all turn out. And I really loved getting a little glimpse into Sebastian's love life at the end. I had always wanted him to have his own story, so I hope he's one of the e-novellas that Ms. Harvey hinted at.

Blood Prophecy

Number of pages: 440

Time it took me to read: 3 days

Rating (out of five stars): 5

“Kieran loved Solange and I knew he’d do anything to save her. But I was her best friend and I didn’t have his rules about not hitting girls. So I’d do what I had to.

Including hitting her with my car.” (Blood Prophecy, page 170)

Warning! Mild spoilers ahead

Blood Prophecy is told from the point of view of Lucy and Solange for the most part, but one thing I like about Blood Prophecy is that Isabeau, Hunter and Christabel each have a chapter told from their point of view.

The last book in a series tends to be my favorite, and Blood Prophecy is no exception. Blood Prophecy being my favorite, I have probably read it more than the other books in the series, yet it still feels like I’m reading it for the very first time. The first time that I read Blood Prophecy, I felt like there was a point in the book where it should have ended, but instead continued for 100+ pages. After the Viola issue had been dealt with, the whole “Dawn” part of the book seemed more like an afterthought and a weak reason to have a stereotypical fantastical battle scene. I realise that the whole “Dawn” thing has been building for multiple books, but in Blood Prophecy it seemed unnecessary. Although I believe that Blood Prophecy should have ended sooner than it did, I really like the epilogue. I think that the epilogue truly does end the series nicely.

Overall, I give Blood Prophecy 4.8 stars because while I think that part of the plot seemed like an afterthought, Blood Prophecy kept me interested until the very end.

Started reading this when it came out and it has been my favorite book series since. its that the character are so fun and full of life and are amazing and funny. So sad it's over although not as sad as I should be cause I think I'm in denial that it's over :(

The conclusion of this series was, as a whole, quite satisfying. There was kick-butt action and drizzle of romance, snarky remarks and a few plot twists that were a pleasant jolt of surprise. I feel like the series started off strong before it dipped as we approached the end, but I am still very fond of the cast of the characters and I will miss them especially Lucy and Nicholas, a lot. The constant changing of POVs deterred my proper enjoyment, but this is still worth a read if you love the inhabitants of Violet Hill as much as I do.
