Idek where to start because Celaena is absolutely a badass. I started questioning what this "love traingle" was between Celaena, Dorian, and Chaol was going to be but GOOD THING I CAN RELAX. This is definitely a different playing field than the ACOTAR series. 
I will admit though, this book is giving me more of a reason to read more fantasy books.

The plot was interesting and hooked me right away, but the characters felt underdeveloped and the world building wasn't what it could've been.

The dialogue is confusing, often hopping around, and there are too many over-dramatic, cliché narrations. It’s an interesting world and story, and I wanted to know what happened, but the writing style really annoyed me.

I enjoyed this book, it was pretty good. I was really into the challenges, The characters and their backstories. I enjoyed reading it

This was a good book! The first half was a bit slow as it set up the world but the ending was exciting and makes me anxious to run to the store for the next one in the series! Now that the world building is established the rest of the books should be faster paced. The characters were nicely fleshed out and easy to empathize with. There’s some murder mystery elements in this book as well that I greatly enjoyed! I would recommend this book to those who don’t want spice but still want a cute little will they won’t they romance in a mostly adventure based fantasy setting.
