I think I would have enjoyed this better had I read it. The narrator wasn't bad, but it just didn't quite work for me.

Not what I expected, but still wonderful!

Somehow I thought this would be a quirky comedy. And there were definitely some funny moments. But overall it’s a quiet and thoughtful tale of the awkward guy who doesn’t really fit in trying to get through the defenses of the impenetrable guy who doesn’t appear to talk to ANYONE.

There is no sex or even kissing in this book - it doesn’t fit the characters - which was a surprise after the BDSM book I just read from the same author, but it didn’t affect my enjoyment. It still gave me all the feels.

Such a surprisingly sweet and adorable short romance! I loved to get a different representation of romantic experience in this book. Excited to have more to read in book 1

Quiet but not boring. Slow, but not dragging. Somehow perfectly paced for the central couple.
