Cloudy With a Chance of Bad Decision ARC Review:
George and Alex đđ
What was supposed to be a week of spending time with his family and attending the celebration of his exâs, and long time family friendâs, wedding becomes a bit more complicated with the realization that the annoyingly smug, and sexy, airport/plane guy is the brideâs twin brother, Alex. Throughout the week-long wedding camp, the two get thrown together by helpful yet nosy loved ones and find they might have more in common than either one could have guessed.
Cloudy With a Chance of Bad Decisions has characters that are filled with the type of flair that I love experiencing when I pick up a book written by Fae. They are hilariously quirky yet filled with the kind of deep emotions that tug at my heartstrings as much as my tear ducts, with each character accomplishing some level of this magical blend all in a way that is unique to them. Alex and George were beautiful to read about with the way they pushed and pulled, making every wall lowered a special moment that gave me a wobbly chin. Precious to the very last sentence! I ached when they did and couldnât help but wheeze with laughter the whole time with these two and their meddling loved ones.
Alex and George now join the growing ranks of MCâs I love, along with their fabulous families and friends, that made me feel so deeply at every step of their journey towards falling in love, be it with humor or a peek into something more vulnerable along the way.
Delightful, hilarious, and emotional!

Despite the nearly 600 pages, I read it in two days. I could not put it down. I don't know what it is about men written by the author that makes me fall in love with them without hesitation.
This is the story of two seemingly perfect men who are imperfect (and therefore wonderful) on the inside. They meet and despite themselves, they fall in love. You´ll cry, you´ll laugh, you´ll hate George's ex.
George lives in New York, he has to go to a wedding in his hometown. So far so good. But a luggage accident causes an unknown man, Alex, to flirt with him, so much so that it drives George out of his mind. They coincide on the plane, because of course Alex is also going to the wedding. George ends up hating Alex. Everything has been orchestrated by their families, so that they meet and fall in love, but, at the beginning it goes a little bit wrong.
George and Alex have a lot of emotional baggage. They both try to maintain a facade of perfection, but inside they are insecure, imperfect. George is a hair's breadth away from developing anxiety and Alex is also on the verge of depression.
I've read books with BDSM, but this one reflects it perfectly .
Poor Neil. ;)
The good thing about all this is that it is the beginning of a series, there will be a second book, that I want to read already, because I love the main character of this second one.
As always, the bi rep is important to me.

CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF BAD DECISIONS is a long-a$$ contemporary story that will have you rooting for the MCs from the get-go. Alex is an incorrigible flirt who hides behind a multitude of masks, while George is the one who has perfected a blank mask.
Their romance takes place during just over a week, but trust me, your emotions will go up hill and down dale as their story sweeps you along. These two are perfect in every way for each other. There are HOT and spicy moments, romantic moments, snarky moments, and then my-eyes-are-leaking moments. Plus, there is lots of caretaking, which is one of my not-so-guilty pleasures. And it is so well written, you won't even notice how long it is!
With a whole host of supporting characters, I was ecstatic to find out Joe will have his own story. I'm hoping to meet up again with the characters here, especially George and Alex, to find out if all their dreams are coming true. Absolutely fantastic and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY ME.

This was such a fun spicy read. Even though it was on the longer side it kept me entertained throughout the whole book. George and Alex had such amazing chemistry and I loved the added kink factor they had. Loved how even though they were âbrokenâ because of past relationships, they still needed each other and their âbrokennessâ perfectly aligned with the others. The side characters were amazing and I canât wait for Joeâs book.

A contemporary romance with 634 pages? Yeah, I have to admit I was a bit scared, but not a single page was wasted in this book. I was heavily invested from the first to the very last page â and beyond. Even though the book doesnât span long in terms of time, the progression of their relationship felt realistic and so very genuine. I love romances where I can wholeheartedly believe in the relationship, even with an epilogue that isnât set too far in the future. That was definitely the case here.
There were so many funny moments: snarky banter between the MCs, hilarious â yet embarassing â interactions with family members (letâs just say everyone can hear you clapping cheeks in a tent), and so much more. I also swooned a lot. My gosh these guys were adorable and so good for and with each other. The whole thing played out like a movie in my head and itâs one of those rare books I wouldnât have minded seeing made into an actual movie. Maybe without the spice though, because it wouldâve been hella R rated. I have come to learn that Fae Quin is one of the best in the genre when it comes to writing spice. These characters have buckets of chemistry and it definitely translated to the⌠tent.
You get a lot of pages to prepare for the inevitable heartbreak and tears, but sadly (not really) those pages are also used to make you fall head over heels in love with the characters, so the preparation doesnât actually help and you get kicked in the metaphorical nutsack of emotion. If youâre anything like me, youâll have to blow your nose 3+ times from all the snot.
Okay, Iâve probably gushed enough now, you get the point. They have amazing chemistry, and you get to see the characters go from antagonizing each other and somewhat mutual animosity, to falling so hard for each other, all in a way that feels realistic. Both of them have past trauma and insecurities that makes things less than easy, but they work through it in a way that felt believable.
If this book was paranormal, George and Alex would have been fated mates.
Stop it, heart, you traitorous whore.
5 stars, highly recommend. Thank you to the author for the ARC copy.

It was taking every ounce of my self-control not to squish his cheeks and smooch the hell out of his grumpy little face.
He looked at me the same way Iâd just been staring at the stars. Like I was something worth admiring.
âI thought it was my fault. That I wasnât worth the effort? Or maybe it was just normal to feel lonely, even when you were with someone.â
âLike any adult with anxiety I spend a lot of my free time watching Planet Earth.â
Iâd never desired another person so much that the brush of their lips made me feel like I was shaking apart.
âYou have a crush on me?â I teased, butterflies swarming in my belly. The look Alex gave me was flat as hell. âHow embarrassing for you.â âShut the fuck up,â Alex laughed, smooching me longer this time.

I loved everything about Alex and Georgie. First of all, their dildo meet-cute come the fork on, that was adorable and quite hilarious. The banter between Alex and Georgie was everything. Add in the apology pickles, snake wrangling, pilfered picnic, boathouse shenanigans and friendship bracelet goodness and it was heaven. I felt like I was floating on a teeny tiny cloud the entire time I was reading them.
Alex is the definition of an excitable puppy and Georgie is literally a stray cat. In the words of Alex -- "He was like⌠a stray cat. You had to feed it treats from a distance for a while before coaxing it forward.. However, they were so vulnerable with each other, so open and honest. Those quiet moments when they let their walls fall and the mask disappear were my absolute favorite.
The spice in this book sent me into the stratosphere. Alex, jfc everyone, and I mean everyone needs to find themselves an Alex. Alex & Georgie were deliciously hot. It's a slow burn but when it ignites it freaking SCORCHES. I don't think I've recovered from the shower scene. Literally, replaying in my mind 24/7.
This baby was 600+ pages and yet it was not enough. I could read these two forever and it still wouldn't be enough. This has to be my favorite book Fae has ever written and I didn't think anyone could come close to my Mutt from [book:Hunt Me! I Crave the Chase|175799174]. If this book was a bad decision, I don't ever want to make a good decision again.

This book encapsulates everything I adore about Fae Quinâs writing... heartwarming, exhilarating, and utterly immersive. Itâs brimming with tender moments that made me giddy and caretaking that gave me butterflies. Silly awkwardly adorable moments that made it difficult to stop smiling and sexy moments that made it impossible to put down. And the laugh out loud bits that made every bit of this book 100% the Fae Quin writing that I know and love! This story delivered exactly the charm and depth Iâve come to cherish from her writing.
When I wasn't reading this book, I was thinking about it. Simultaneously excited to get to the end of the book and not wanting it to be over. And now I'm sad that I'm finished, writing this review with puffy eyes (from crying) and feeling drained from just so much emotion. This is going to be one of those books that lives in my soul, a part of my DNA, my entire personality.
