Pretty much all of my goodreads friends gave this 5 stars, except Melissa who I buddy read this with (until I had to stop)

I really really enjoyed the last 30% and I wish the entire book had been similar. The beginning was too much, and then Mike’s sulkiness and denial (oh god so much denial) drove me crazy.

*i also had a hard time with the health issue aspects. Some things just hit too close to home, and I don’t know if it was just a bad time to read it, but I found myself having to set it down for being too painful.
