Het eerste boek van 2022 is een feit. Een simpel luisterboek van Paolo Cognetti. Niet heel bijzonder, maar wel mooi en poëtisch geschreven. Het geeft je een gevoel van verlangen - verlangen naar de Italiaanse bergen. Om je op te sluiten in een alpenhuisje, waar niemand is. Met boeken en slechte wijn. Waar het 's nachts spookt. De magie van Cognetti.

Cognetti in questo libro racconta in prima persona la sua esperienza di 6 mesi passati in una baita in montagna. Grazie alla sua scrittura attenta, sembra davvero di immergersi nella natura, sentire il profumo dei larici, vedere gli stambecchi. Anche i rapporti umani con i pochi malinconici abitanti della montagna sono molto ben caratterizzati.
Un libro che fa venire davvero voglia di prendere il bastone e imboccare il sentiero.

Met bergliteratuur is het zo: cru gezegd is het allemaal een pot nat. Als je één boek hebt gelezen heb je ze allemaal wel gelezen. En eigenlijk is dat helemaal niet zo erg, want je krijgt precies wat je zoekt. Zo ook in dit boek. Een verhaal over alleen zijn met jezelf en de natuur, vrijheid, vriendschap en het leven
