The kind of book that has you perpetually smiling or laughing because every funny moment is more wild than the next, and every fight or moment of sadness you can see coming chapters away.

“Very good, my darling,” he murmurs, standing smoothly.
My soul leaves my body. Because that right there? That’s the posh equivalent of “good girl.”

I really enjoyed the heartbreaking moments and miscommunication between Edward and Daisy. Although this is an age gap opposites attract romance the author doesn’t focus too much on their differences in age. My favorite parts were each time Daisy felt like a secret with Edward and the heartache that would cause hahaha. It was so good. Definitely read the bonus episode because it’s a 2 years later view of their relationship which is amazing.

4.5 ⭐️I really like Rosa Lucas’ writing and was excited to read the next book in this series. I read this in one sitting as I couldn’t put it down. It was absolutely hilarious, had me laughing out loud so many times, Daisy the FMC was wild. I loved the banter between Daisy and Edward the MMC, and the angst and yearning leading to them getting together. I had a few issues though with their story; they had absolutely nothing in common so it didn’t feel like they should actually be together. I thought Daisy was immature and needed to work on her insecurities, Edward was a bit of an asshole and was a snob too embarrassed to be seen with her. This is why I couldn’t rate the book 5 stars despite really enjoying it.
