Another good installment in the House of Night Series but as usual, a short, quick read. All of these books take place over a period of a couple days. This one is about 3 days long. Now we are waiting for the next book to find out what will happen to Zoey and her friends.

I didn't really care about Stark and Zoey in Awakened, but Stevie Rae and Rephaim's relationship is very interesting. Zoey and Stark are pretty blah in this book. Stark is boring compared to all of Zoey's other guys. I found myself getting very angry whenever Neferet came on the scene because people act like gullible idiots around her.

I'll definitely continue reading. Can't wait for the next book.

I don’t know why I’m still rereading these.. hahaha. But the end did make me want to immediately pick up the next one, so I guess here we are

There’s been some seriously decent progress FINALLY but I cannot with the outdated terminology (and yes it was absolutely outdated even at 2010). And the constant juvenile behaviours that compromise Z with the hearting everything and actually verbally saying heehees is pretty gag worthy. Not in keeping with the time this book was written I swear (or maybe I’ve lost touch with my early texting years but as we actually would have said back then… barf…).

In glad that she’s finally done with the holier than thou outlook on sex and made that experience a less than substantial occurrence culminating in the character literally not feeling any different. Too bad it only took 7 books to get that through her thick skull.

I may be running through this series but I swear it’s just for the satisfaction of finally being done the series. I’m not there yet…still 3 books to power through. But damn am I ever looking forward to being done

I normally don't care for reads that bounce back n' forth from character to character telling the story, BUT this one made it work perfectly and smoothly!! Very enjoyable...can't wait to hit book store and buy #9 to see how it's wrapped up!!!

I especially enjoyed this one. Rephaim got a nice gift from the goddess but I was sad the Linda died just when she was planning to start anew.

The book was okay, like the rest of the series, but it doesn't really have any high points... the dialogue is nothing like what teenagers today would use, and there was an overload of pop culture references. The plot is starting to drag out, a lot like Alyson Noel's Immortal Series, and a few of the characters are becoming really unrealistic. I'm really only sticking with the series because I want to see what ultimately happens at the end. However, I'm starting to become interested by Rephaim; I think there's a lot of promise in that character.

I thought the book was better than O.K but not amazing. One thing I'm not to fond of is the constant changing in character perspectives. It's just so annoying. But I did like Zoey in this book a lot more than in the previous books, I felt as she really came into her own. And she finally found happiness. Well, for the most part anyway.

Oh, and Heath needs to stay away, and just let James and Zoey be. They are perfect for each other! Over all I did enjoy this book and I will be reading book 9 'Destined'.

Great fun, as always.
