This book is fantastic! The characters are loveable and memorable. The plot is fantastic and tackles issues like what it means to be a mother.

way too many things i loved about little fires everywhere that i can’t put into words right now but one of the aspects i appreciated the most was that it is a book written with so many teenage characters in it where it wasn’t all about sex and alcohol.
also the writing!! and the characters and the topic itself made everything just so much more real and relatable and i loved it

The book is way better than the movie. So much more depth and more likable characters. I loved how this story wove together … flashbacks were handled well. The ending (which was also the beginning) was powerful. Also, I grew up in a place like Shaker Heights and this was chillingly accurate.

the characters and beautiful writing were definitely the best part of this book. each character felt very real and raw, and ng’s writing portrays that in an amazing way. however it was hard for me to get super invested in any of the storylines because there were so many at once. this book touches on a lot of important topics, and i felt that it  went too deep in less interesting/relevant ones and not deep enough in others. still a really good book though, a very enjoyable read and almost brought me to tears at one point.
