This may have been the most delusional MC I have ever encountered. Rachel was the worst. The frustration I felt anytime Rachel had to talk herself into a man loving her, even when he was doing her so wrong. Ugh. I have always been Team Ethan, during both the movie and book.

My biggest problem with the book is the cheating. This happens Chapter 1 Page 1 (give or take a few pages). The author obviously tried to write the characters in a way that makes it seem like one person is better and more likable than the other, however, this wasn't done right and none of the characters are really likable. I will say this book does a good job of displaying how a toxic friendship can affect someone for the good and bad, and the justifications that people will make for those toxic friends. The ending could have been so much better, I didn't think that the decision made by the main characters was right and that it shows that there is no character growth. I will say that this was a bit of an exciting read, and I felt like I was on the edge of my seat for a few really tense and anxious moments.
