I'm sorry, but I'm going to stick to the movies. The original has a colonizer mindset and I really don't like the family dynamic. That's not the kind of dynamic I want to continue with in my family.

Just as much as fun to read, as when I read it as a kid.

<3 somehow I don't think I've ever read this first paddington book?! I feel like I must have done.
This was a really old copy that I found at my dad's house and couldn't resist reading as it's one of my favourite films, and it did not disappoint! No wonder paddington has a place in so many people's hearts, it's so wholesome and lovely whilst being genuinely funny. Obsessed

My boys and I read this book at a pace of about 1/2 page per day, ha! I don't remember ever reading it as a kid, despite always being interested in Paddington Bear, so I was happy to finally learn his story. It's very British and very funny - highly recommend! But it's probably more interesting for children older than my two boys are right now (3 and 5).

I've only known Paddington for 1 day and if anything happened to him I'd kill everyone in this room and then myself
