Dark and twisted. Will Graham isn't as interesting as Clarice Starling in my opinion. I was obsessed with the dynamic between Reba and Francis. I was hoping for more Hannibal scenes in this but ultimately his scenes were cut short. I will definitely be reading the other books in the series.

Parts of this book I really enjoyed, but I overwhelming found it a bit disappointing. If I’m going to read a horror I want to feel genuinely scared and consistently full of suspense, and I only felt like that fleetingly.

It's a brilliant book, but it could be even better if the last 2 chapters had never been written.

my first audiobook experience. Thomas Harris has such a calming voice in the vein of Matthew McConaughey which is amusing considering what he's reading aloud.

I know Dolarhyde is a twisted mofo but when Molly gets her aim going, it reminded me of Jason Voorhees getting done in on The Final Chapter where he slides down the machete at the end - you can't help but flinch.

Interesting that Hannibal is barely in this one but set up as a plot starter for the next novels.
Definitely keen to get through the rest.
