Big fan of the film but I now realise why it’s seen as lesser by fans of the book, this gives The Tooth Fairy so much more depth, it allows insight into all his madness and obsession with the Dragon and also gives a much more sinister insight into his relationship with Reba. Hannibal is such a bit part in this book and it builds the world around him beautifully.
